Update about COVID-19
Update: April 9th, 2020
Dear friends of William Way LGBT Community Center:
This is an update to our earlier announcements of the postponement of all public programs that meet in our building.
We have extended the closing of the Center's building for public programs for the foreseeable future. We will inform you immediately when we decide to reopen the building. Tenants of the building who have keys and security codes can continue to use the building.
We are actively pursuing the programs of the Center on-line and through staff outreach.
If you have rented a space from the Center for the foreseeable future, please reach out to Avis at avis@waygay.org to reschedule your event.
If you would like to use one of the Center's Zoom accounts for a program, please reach out to Marshall Siegel at info@waygay.org with the request, including the date, time, and duration of your meeting.
If you have questions about our Senior programs, please reach out to Ed Miller at emiller@waygay.org.
If you have questions about a donation, giving history or would like to make a donation, please email development@waygay.org.
You can also reach us 24/7 at the following connections:
Call us at 215-732-2220 and leave a message with voice mail, and we will call you back as quickly as possible.
Email us at info@waygay.org, and your message will be forwarded to the right person.
Message us on Facebook or Instagram, which we will be checking regularly. We will also post updates there as needed.
Though the Center will not be accessible to 12-step meetings during this time, we are listing below on-line meeting options for various fellowships. We stand in solidarity with all of our friends in recovery. If you are a trusted servant and would like to use our Zoom account to have a remote video/audio meeting, we are happy to make this link available to you. The account allows up to 100 people in a group at a time. If you'd like to use this resource for a meeting, please reach out to Chris Bartlett at wwccedir@waygay.org.
