Gallery Submissions

Rolling Review

In addition to periodic open calls for submission announced here, we also accept submissions for Solo Shows and Preformed Group Shows on a rolling basis. If you’d like to be considered for one of these exhibitions, please follow the instructions below.

The Art Gallery at the William Way LGBT Community Center exclusively exhibits work by artists who self-identify as LGBTQ. Your work need not be explicitly LGBTQ-focused. We are interested in artistic perspectives on the breadth of human experience by LGBTQ people.

We are interested in collaborating with individuals, community groups, or other collecting institutions to develop new exhibits both within the walls of the Center and beyond. We plan our exhibits at least a year in advance. We prioritize those that can make creative use of our archival materials, those that tell a fresh and compelling story, and those that embrace under-represented portions of our community.

Artwork requirements: 2D or wall relief, any media, dimensions no larger than 48 inches (vertical) x 36 inches (horizontal), weight restricted to 40 pounds, or video.

To be considered for an exhibition in the Center’s Art Gallery, please follow the instructions on this Google form. You must be logged in to Google to use this form.
