Many people and groups choose the Center for their meetings or events. Our facility boasts classic turn of the century architectural details with modern amenities like wireless internet access, lap tops available for check out, and speaker phones. The Center is also a venue of choice because we offer the most competitive rates in Philadelphia.

If you are an individual, the Center is the perfect place for a commitment ceremony, birthday party, anniversary celebration, or other life-occasion. If you are with an organization, you may be interested in the Center's affordable meeting facilities.
 


Mark Segal Ballroom
This beautiful and spacious room on the second floor of the building is perfect for large or elegant events.

Lobby
Our lovely lobby is warm, welcoming, and easily accessible to the public.

Philadelphia Room
This versatile space on the ground floor is great for workshops, lectures, and large meetings.

Executive Conference Room

  • $25 per hour

This space is one our most versatile rooms. Acting as a a relaxed meeting room this space can also be transformed into a performance space.

Living Room
This affordable space is perfect for small or medium sized groups.

Rec Room
This diverse space has been used for dance rehearsals and mid-sized meetings.

  • This air-conditioned space accommodates up to 55 people
  • $25 per hour

Additional Items
The following items are available for rent (as available; includes set-up)
  • LCD Projector: $25
  • TVs/VCRs: $10.00
  • Sound System: $35.00
  • PA System: $35.00 each

Additional Fees
  • $50.00 Food and Beverage Rate; this additional charge is a cleaning rate for any event at the Center that includes food and/or beverages
  • A cleaning and damage deposit of $100.00 is required for all events. Provided the space is clean and nothing has been damaged, this can be refunded to you. Any damage incurred above the $100.00 will be billed to you.
  • Cleaning Fee (If not adequately cleaned by user): $100.00 per hour
All meeting rooms require a 50% non-refundable deposit when the rental contract is signed. All events and meetings at the Community Center of 50 or more people, require an Incidental deposit of $100.00, due on the day of your event. Any event serving alcohol requires a refundable cleaning deposit of $500, due the day before the event.
